Meet Our Leadership Team

Peter McCord – President/CEO

Employed by CHC and holding the title of President of MED3000 Health Solutions of the Virginias, LLC, a joint venture, for the last 19 years, Mr. McCord currently leads a management team which has repeatedly improved the operations of both physician and hospital clients across the country.

Peter has 35 years of diverse experience in the healthcare industry.   He has managed both primary care and specialty medical practices at both the individual and senior administrative levels.  He has worked for both not-for-profit and for-profit companies, including Director of Practice Operations for United Medical Care as well as Director of Carilion Professional Billing and Consulting Services (which operations he created while working for Carilion).  Peter has served as a consultant in medical practice management, conducting numerous engagements in various aspects of practice improvement.  He is a member of CMS’s Physician Education and Training Advisory Committee for both Virginia and West Virginia.  Mr. McCord earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roanoke College.

Robin Drummond – Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management

As Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for MED3000 for the last 18 years, Mrs. Drummond is responsible for overseeing Accounts Receivable, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Payment Posting, and Accounting personnel and is directly involved in Account Management and Consulting.

Robin has over 30 years of healthcare industry experience and has managed Physician practices and has overseen Credentialing and Billing departments throughout her career.  Ms. Drummond works with clients through all phases of the Revenue Cycle Management including trend analytics, denial management and reduction, fee schedule reviews, recommended billing protocols, and payer contracting.  Robin is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the Virginia Medical Group Manager’s Association (VAMGMA), and the CMS Physician Outreach and Education Advisory Group (POAG).

Cindy Bennett – Vice President, Practice Operations & Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources and Practice Operations for MED3000 for the last 18 years, Mrs. Bennett is responsible for all aspects of human resources management including policies and procedures, recruitment, hiring, compensation management, benefit administration, labor law compliance, regulatory compliance and employee relations matters.

Mrs. Bennett also provides oversight management for a multi-specialty group with 8 locations, 23 providers and ancillary operations.  She identifies and provides remedies for strategic and operational challenges.  She is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of various practice management initiatives to enhance productivity and maximize revenues for the providers and to minimize expenses in the practices in addition to Provider recruitment.  Mrs. Bennett has over 18 years of healthcare experience and over 25 years of human resources experience.  Mrs. Bennett earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Virginia Tech.
